When Disney made the decision to cancel select 2021 sailings over 7-nights, the 9-Night Alaskan, and the 9-night Southern were replaced with shorter sailings. Guests booked on the cancelled sailings were offered a 10% discount on the replacement sailings which went on sale this morning. The catch, anyone could go online and book the new sailings at the lowest price this morning, but those with the 10% offer were required to wait for the phone lines to open to call.
I will say, comparing the Alaskan, the opening day pricing is below the opening day prices from other 7-night Alaskans around the same wee compared to when those went on sale back in February.
Below, I’ve collected the opening day pricing, lowest price per stateroom category, based on double occupancy (2 adults) for the three replacement cruises to provide a a historical idea on where the cruises are priced.
One last note, the pricing below is representative of a snapshot in time on opening day. As cruises book, prices will increase and stateroom availability will dwindle. The pricing below includes taxes, fees & port expenses for 2 adults.
